We are a concrete contractor serving Troy, MI and nearby Oakland and Macomb County cities, focused on residential and light commercial flatwork: driveways, stamped concrete, patios, sidewalks and approaches, steps, garage floors and repairs. Our approach is simple. Explain the job honestly, build the parts you cannot see as carefully as the parts you can, and tell you up front which permits apply and who pulls them.
How we work
Every project starts with a conversation and a site visit. We measure, check grades and drainage, look at access for trucks and equipment, and talk through what you want. We tell you whether a slab can be repaired or needs replacing, even when the honest answer is the smaller job.
Your written quote lists the square footage, thickness, base, concrete mix, joint layout, finish, permits and removal of old concrete. That makes it easy to compare with other bids and to know exactly what you are getting. If something changes once the old concrete comes out, such as soft soil or a buried root, we stop, show you, and agree on the change before continuing.
Built for Michigan winters
Concrete in the Troy area faces dozens of freeze-thaw cycles each winter, plus road salt. We build for that:
- Air-entrained exterior concrete, ordered to the kind of mix the Michigan Concrete Association recommends for residential flatwork.
- Compacted granular base and slope that moves water away from the house.
- Control joints laid out before the pour, so cracks form where they should.
- Proper curing, and no pours on frozen ground.
- Clear first-winter care instructions, including no deicers on new concrete.

What we will not do
We will not invent credentials, post reviews we have not earned, or pressure you into a bigger job than you need. We will not pour on frozen ground to hit a date, and we will not skip a permit the city requires. If a project is outside what we do well, we will tell you.
Permits explained up front
Permit rules vary from city to city. In Troy, private flatwork usually does not need a building permit, but public sidewalks and driveway approaches need a Sidewalk and Approach Permit with an inspection before the pour. Other cities, like Sterling Heights and Madison Heights, require permits for private flatwork too. We tell you which rules apply on the first call and handle the paperwork when it is part of our scope.
Where we work
Troy is our home base. We work throughout the city, from the Big Beaver corridor near Troy Community Center to the subdivisions off Long Lake and Square Lake. We also serve Rochester Hills, Rochester, Sterling Heights, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township, Royal Oak, Clawson, Madison Heights, Auburn Hills, Shelby Township and Warren. See our service areas for local permit notes.
What we pour
Most of our work is concrete driveways, stamped concrete patios and walks, and sidewalks and approaches, along with steps, garage floors, repairs and commercial flatwork. If you are not sure what your project needs, call (248) 453-1088 and describe it. We will tell you what we think and whether we are the right fit.
